About the Job
The Senior Advisor to the Mayor, Community Revitalization, will work to advance the Mayor’s goals for catalytic revitalization of target disinvested neighborhoods across Atlanta. The Senior Advisor is responsible for leading this initiative, including overseeing project implementation, ensuring the progress and completion of capital projects, building community ownership, and managing key stakeholder relationships. The Senior Advisor must be a master facilitator, working collaboratively and swiftly across multiple departments, agencies, and sectors. A key component of the work is supporting the engagement of numerous working groups that focus the efforts of City departments, external agencies, non-profit and philanthropic organizations, development partners, and neighborhood leaders to implement the program in accordance with community goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of the high-priority, cross-functional place-based neighborhood revitalization strategy
Build an internal organizational framework and approach to strategy implementation that ensures regular, proactive, and strategic integration of broad mayoral priorities, maximizes community impact, and fully integrates racial equity and community inclusion
Guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of cross-functional initiatives involving multiple City departments and agencies, overseeing working groups, developing and approving project plans and project managers, and tracking collaborative progress
Serve as an expert resource for key internal leaders whose departments are critical implementers of strategy components (e.g., Commissioner of City Planning, Commissioner of Transportation, etc.)
Serve as external spokesperson and surrogate for the Mayor and the Chief Policy Officer relating to this work
Oversee a small team responsible for maintaining master project management/ tracking system for all major projects, programs, and initiatives contained within the strategy
Support other high-priority mayoral programs and initiatives as needed by supplying a unique perspective and familiarity with the perspectives of stakeholder served by the team’s initiatives and using it to evaluate other programs and policies
Develop and implement authentic, frequent community and resident engagement strategies, in and surrounding target neighborhoods, in collaboration with key stakeholders
Manage the ongoing implementation of the initiative’s comprehensive communications plan, in collaboration with key stakeholders
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate or equivalent experience in public policy, urban planning, community development, public administration, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in a related field
Master’s degree in public policy, urban planning, community development, public administration, or related field with 15+ years of progressive experience is preferred

The Director of Grants Accounting builds and maintains a long term financial plan for DOA that integrates revenue, expense, financing and capital expansion plans into cohesive program. This is a high level of strategic and operations management reporting to a top department executive or a department deputy. The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) was created to improve how Atlanta manages transportation and the public right-of-way. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director for comprehensive network planning and early project planning. Responsibilities

The Director of Fiscal Operations reports directly to the Deputy Commissioner. The Director provides fiscal management and oversight for the City of Atlanta’s entitlement programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other associated grant programs, including but not limited to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, Home Investment Partnerships Act (HOME) program, Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA), the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG), Healthy Homes Grant, and assists with other non-HUD grants.
This is a fully seasoned managerial level charged with responsibility for specialized functions within the department. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in public administration, planning, business administration, economics, or a related field

About the Job
The Director of Disability Access and ADA Compliance is part of the Mayor’s Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (MOEDI) which works to identify and develop systems & behavioral change solutions that advance equitable outcomes to continue Moving Atlanta Forward. This position organizes the implementation of the City's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act as it relates to the built environment; acts as a liaison between City departments to facilitate compliance with ADA; coordinates the efforts of the City's ADA Team Task Force; provides technical assistance to public and private agencies on ADA issues. Establishes policies citywide or departmentally to ensure compliance with ADA.
Responsibilities
Coordinates the implementation of the City's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act as it relates to the built environment; acts as a liaison between City departments to facilitate compliance with ADA; coordinates the efforts of the City's ADA efforts; provides technical assistance to public and private agencies on ADA issues
Plans, recommends, monitors and coordinates the City's response to the provisions of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act as related to facilities management private development and public access
Tracks complaints and processes grievances related to ADA issues
Compiles, prepares, and maintains data and statistics for City, state and/or federally required reports
Coordinates the efforts of the City's ADA involvement in various committees and task forces; conducts meetings as assigned and provides staff support
Reviews and recommends changes to architectural drawings and plans of new and existing construction for architectural accessibility for both public and private development
Work across departments and teams to ensure compliance with the terms of the Lawson Consent Decree settlement
Conducts site visits to review programs, designs, plans, work in progress, etc., for compliance with the Act
Recommends auxiliary aids and services to ensure effective communication with individuals with hearing or vision impairments (i.e., assistive listening devices, written material, taped text, brailed or large print materials)
Makes appropriate referrals to county, state, federal or outside agencies on complaints outside City jurisdiction
Maintains records, both manually and through automated methods, and prepares accurate reports, correspondence, etc.
Performs such other related tasks and duties that are assigned or required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a major in architecture, engineering, public administration, business administration, urban planning, communications or a closely related field
Five years of project management experience including developing project timelines, cost estimates and budgets relating to accessibility, capital projects and/or inclusive community building and development with knowledge of compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in building design, engineering, construction, budget analysis, or code enforcement
Previous experience with Project Civic Access or other aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act

About the Job
The Employee Relations Specialist, Senior provides advice and consultation to HR business partners and Centers of Excellence in the areas of labor and employee relations. Supervision is received under the leadership of the Labor & Employee Relations Director.
Responsibilities
Works with HR business partners, managers, and employees to identify and resolve employee issues in a manner consistent with policies, City Code, state and federal law
Conducts administrative investigations, drafts report findings, counsels HR and management partners on subsequent actions
Serves as an impartial third-party to review employee complaints and grievances beyond the assigned departmental chain of command
Supports the OLER Director in advising managers and HR partners on the administration of MOUs with unions, and actively participates in maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with unions
Coordinates ethics hotline investigations
Responds to EEOC charges; registering complaints, collecting information, conducting investigations as needed, preparing position statement responses
Collaborates proactively with HR partners to drive a positive employee relations climate at all City of Atlanta locations
Identifies opportunities for improvement and collaborates with HR partners in the implementation of improvements
Develops and delivers training on a range of topics in support of Labor & Employee Relations and Diversity & Inclusion programs (discrimination/harassment prevention, performance management, communication, conflict resolution) and other modules geared toward proactively improving relationships between employees

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking a passionate, purpose-driven, systems-thinking leader with a deep commitment to affordable housing, community development, climate resilience, and environmental justice. This individual will fill the role of Senior Director, Housing Solutions within the organization’s Housing and Community Strategy (HCS) team. The HCS team works with Habitat for Humanity local offices across the United States primarily through thought partnership, capacity building and strategic investments. The team’s efforts are grounded in social justice and equity and focused on identifying, investing in, and scaling innovative approaches to affordable housing, economic mobility, and neighborhood transformation.
As a key leader on the HCS team and in the US Office, this position will hire and lead the newly forming Housing Solutions team. The role will oversee strategy, research, initiatives and tools that support HFHI and local Habitat affiliates to understand and leverage housing market conditions, financing (including public subsidies), regulatory environment, and entitlement process for affordable homeownership projects. In addition, the Senior Director will ensure that Habitat affiliates are equipped with the tools and knowledge to implement climate resilience and environmental justice practices in housing development. This includes promoting sustainable construction techniques, resilient site design, and strategies that protect vulnerable communities from the impacts of extreme weather, rising sea levels, and environmental degradation.
The role will also focus on addressing the intersection of housing affordability and environmental inequities, striving to create homes that are not only affordable but also healthy, sustainable, and safe. The Senior Director will manage a diverse team of subject matter experts specializing in affordable housing development, market analysis, construction, long-term affordability, housing preservation, climate resilience, and environmental justice policy. The individual in this position will act as a thought leader, representing HFHI to donors, housing sector partners, and Habitat affiliates, while also ensuring that climate and environmental justice considerations are embedded in every aspect of the team’s work.

Execute and amplify sustainable housing and community development solutions that incorporate climate resilience and environmental justice and respond to the needs and experiences of excluded and marginalized groups (20%)
Assess available and emerging financing resources and develop homeownership financing opportunities that create broader impact for target homebuyers (20%)

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in urban studies, architecture, urban design, real estate, urban planning, or related field with coursework equivalent combination of education and work experience
10-15+ years of professional experience engaged in affordable housing design, development, construction and/or policy work
Mix of experience and education is relevant to years of experience
Experience with climate related /energy for used development approaches
Experience in public and private sector
Ability to navigate a complex affiliated network and HQ world
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s degree in one of above fields
Moderate or advanced knowledge of placed-based community strategies, affordable housing, human-centered design, and/or developmental evaluation
Experience with principles of equitable development or social/economic/environmental justice frameworks
